Please use the official recovery form at https://account.live.com/acsr and provide all details you remember, including:

    Your last used password

Recovery email or phone linked to the account

Any recent emails or account activity

Microsoft will review your submission and guide you to regain access. Reinstalling the app will not bypass security or delete emails stored on Microsoft servers. Microsoft cannot take control of accounts directly, so completing the recovery form is the only way to restore access.

If it won’t let you in on Microsoft Outlook even after resetting the password, it’s usually because the account is getting blocked by the mail provider, not Outlook itself. Try logging in directly on your email provider’s website first to unlock/verify the account, then update the new password in Outlook, that normally gets it working again.

If you're unable to access your Outlook email account and have tried resetting your password without success, here are some steps you can take:

    1. Check for Other Sign-In Options: On the password page, see if there are alternative methods to sign in. If you have access to another device where you might still be signed in, try to change your sign-in preferences from there.
    2. Wait and Retry: If you've attempted to log in too many times, your account may be temporarily locked. It's advisable to wait for about 24 hours before trying again. Avoid making further login attempts during this time as it may extend the lockout period.
    3. Use the Account Recovery Form: If you still cannot access your account, fill out the Account Recovery Form with as much accurate information as possible. This includes details like recent email subjects, folder names, and contacts you’ve emailed.
    4. Contact Microsoft Support: If none of the recovery options work, you can reach out to Microsoft Support for assistance. Go to the support page, select "Microsoft account & billing," and then choose "Password reset or account recovery." Depending on your region, you may have options for chat support or a callback.

Remember, if you have two-step verification enabled, you will need access to at least one of your security methods to complete the recovery process.
