I am having difficulty with Word, using a Mac. I create a Word document and save it to my personal onedrive. If I close it, and then for example, try to attach it to an email, I cannot find it. In addition, the document will not print. I can select print in the dropdown menu or hit the printer button but nothing happens. The pop up box to select printer, page orientation etc does not appear. I have restarted my computer and the printer. Other documents from my Mac will print without difficulty. This all started recently, previously had no issues.

It seems you are facing two main issues with your Word document on your Mac: difficulty locating it in OneDrive and problems with printing. Here are some suggestions to help you resolve these issues:

    1. Locating the Document: Ensure you are checking the correct OneDrive folder where the document was saved. You can also log into your OneDrive account via a web browser to confirm the document's presence there. If you still cannot find it, try searching for the document name using the search feature in OneDrive.
    2. Printing Issues: Since other documents print without problems, the issue may be specific to this one. Here are some steps to troubleshoot the printing problem:
      • Verify that the document is not in read-only mode or protected view, as this can prevent printing.
      • Restart Word and try printing again.
      • If the print dialog does not appear, check your printer settings in System Preferences to ensure the correct printer is selected and that it is online.
      • You can also try using the keyboard shortcut Command + P to open the print dialog directly.

If these steps do not resolve your issues, consider checking for any available updates for Word or your MacOS, as updates can often fix bugs that may be causing these problems.

All systems are up to date. Computer and printer have been restarted, I have no issues printing from other apps. The document is not "read-only"
