I block a quote but then want to continue where I left off. But when I try to type I'm still in the blocking format and what I type is now blocked like the quote. I want to continue in the format I was working in. Help please!

You can press Command+Shift+N to revert a paragraph to Normal style.

To stop typing in the blocked quote format in Microsoft Word and return to your normal formatting, you can follow these steps:

    1. Exit the Quote Block: After you finish typing your quote, press Enter to create a new paragraph. This should automatically take you out of the quote format.
    2. Change Formatting Manually: If the new paragraph is still in the quote format, you can manually change it by selecting the text and applying the normal paragraph style from the styles menu.
    3. Use the Format Painter: If you have text that is formatted normally, you can use the Format Painter tool to copy the formatting from that text and apply it to the text you want to change back to normal.

These steps should help you continue typing in your desired format after a quote without retaining the quote formatting.
