    Hi,

Are you using the Windows Camera app, and do you get any error message when you press Record?

Try to go to Settings, Privacy and Security, Camera, and turn on Camera access and Let apps access your camera. Then go to Settings, Apps, Installed apps, Camera, Advanced options, and select Repair. If the issue continues, select Reset. Also open Device Manager, expand Cameras, right click your HD Camera, and choose Update driver, then restart your PC.

If your HD camera is not recording video despite having the option available, there could be several reasons for this issue. Here are some potential solutions:

    1. Check Camera Resolution: Ensure that the camera's resolution is within the supported limits for video recording. If the resolution exceeds the H.264 or Video Stabilization limits, you may encounter errors. Try lowering the resolution or changing the aspect ratio.
    2. Hardware Requirements: Make sure that your device meets the hardware requirements for recording video. If the device does not meet these requirements, the recording feature may not function properly.
    3. App Conflicts: Check if another application is currently using the camera. If another app is broadcasting, it may prevent your current application from accessing the camera for recording.
    4. Driver Issues: Ensure that your camera drivers are up to date. Outdated or incompatible drivers can cause recording issues.
    5. Permissions: Verify that the application you are using has the necessary permissions to access the camera and record video.

If you continue to experience issues, you may want to consult the camera's manufacturer for further assistance.
