    Hi. I'm David, and I'm happy to help you.

    Please clarify the following:

    Do you use the device's built-in camera or an external camera?

    What message is displayed in the camera's Device Status in Device Manager?

    1. Press "Windows + X" and select "Device Manager";
    2. Click on the "View" menu and select "Show hidden devices";
    3. Expand "Cameras";

    (If this category is not displayed, let me know.)

    1. If the camera is listed, right-click and select "Properties". Check if there is an error in "Device Status".

    If you prefer, share a screenshot. Use the shortcut "Windows + Shift + S" to use the screenshot tool.

    Also, share a screenshot of your system information.

    • Press "Windows + R", type msinfo32 and press Enter.

    Maximize the window and use the screenshot tool.

    I await your reply.

    To fix your camera issues, you can try the following steps:

    1. Check Hardware Connections: Ensure that your camera is properly connected to your computer. If it requires an external power supply, verify that it is plugged in.
    2. Function Keys: Look for function keys (F1 - F12) on your keyboard that may have a camera icon. Press that key or use Fn + that key to unlock the webcam.
    3. Privacy Slider: Check if there is a privacy slider on your camera that needs to be opened to access the webcam.
    4. Driver Reinstallation: Visit the support page for your laptop on the manufacturer's website and download the latest version of the webcam drivers. Reinstall them to ensure they are up-to-date.
    5. Camera Settings: Go to the camera settings page on your device. Select the camera from the connected devices and check if it is enabled. You can also troubleshoot from this page.
    6. USB Connections: If you are using a USB camera, ensure that the USB cable is securely connected. If possible, avoid using USB extenders as they can cause issues. Replace the cable if necessary.
    7. Reset Power: If you are using an all-in-one video bar, try resetting the power of the device. Some devices may have a reset button.
    8. Firmware Update: Check if your camera's firmware is up to date. If it was recently updated, a reset might be necessary to ensure it functions correctly.

    If these steps do not resolve the issue, consider contacting your peripheral manufacturer for further assistance.
