    Hi @Norman Wareing,

Welcome to the Microsoft Q&A forum.

I would like to share the following information with you:

I understand that your account is currently being used as the payment method for a service under your former organization’s tenant, and that you are no longer working for that organization.

In this situation, I recommend that you contact the IT department of that organization and request them to either update the billing information for the subscription or cancel the subscription that is currently active.

Note: These actions can only be performed by a tenant administrator (the organization’s IT department). Microsoft does not have the authority to intervene in a tenant’s information without authorization from the tenant’s administrator.

You may share the following documentation with them for reference on how to change the billing information for a subscription: Manage your Microsoft business billing profiles | Microsoft Learn

If you would like them to completely cancel the subscription, you can provide them with the following steps:

    Step 1: Go to admin.microsoft.com

Step 2: Select Billing > Your products, then choose the subscription you want to cancel

Step 3: Click Edit recurring billing > Off

    Step 4: Click Cancel subscription

I hope the information above is helpful to you.

If you have any further questions or need additional assistance, please feel free to share them in the comments of this post so I can continue to support you.

I look forward to continuing our discussion.

To cancel your subscription, you will need to follow specific steps based on the type of billing account you have. Here’s a general outline of the process:

    1. Access the Microsoft 365 admin center: Go to the Microsoft 365 admin center.
    2. Select Subscriptions: If you're using the Simplified view, select Subscriptions. If you're using the Dashboard view, go to Billing > Your products.
    3. Choose the subscription: Select the subscription you wish to cancel.
    4. Cancel the subscription: In the subscription details page, look for the Cancel subscription option in the Billing settings section. Follow the prompts to complete the cancellation.

If you have multiple subscriptions or specific billing account types (like MCA or MOSA), the steps may vary slightly. Ensure you check the details related to your specific account type.

Additionally, remember to save any important data before canceling, as access to your data may be lost after cancellation.

For more detailed steps, you can refer to the Microsoft documentation on canceling subscriptions.
