If you are experiencing issues with Microsoft 365 Copilot while creating Excel sheets, you may encounter error messages such as "Couldn't update license" or "Something went wrong. Let's try again." These problems can arise due to several reasons:

    1. Newly Assigned License: It may take time for a new license assignment to propagate, which can delay Copilot's availability.
    2. Licensing or Account Conflicts: Being signed in with both a personal and a work or school account can cause validation issues.
    3. Internet Connectivity Issues: Ensure that your network meets the requirements for Copilot to function correctly.
    4. Recent Office Reset or Update: This can affect your Office activation status.
    5. Device-Based Licensing: Copilot requires a user-based license, not device-based licensing.
    6. Update Channel: Your organization must be using the Current Channel or Monthly Enterprise Channel for Copilot to work.
    7. Privacy Settings: Copilot may be blocked by your organization's privacy settings.
    8. Shared Computer Activation (SCA): Copilot is not supported in environments using SCA.

To resolve these issues, you can follow the steps outlined in the Microsoft documentation on enabling the Copilot button and ensure that your Microsoft 365 admin checks your license and organizational policies.
