This is a small non-profit. We don't have an IT person or administrator. We can't seem to share an important file with the person who needs it, We have a non-profit version of 365

To access a shared file in Microsoft 365, follow these steps:

    1. Check Your Email: If someone has shared a file with you, you should receive an email notification with a link to the file. Click on the link to access it.
    2. Use OneDrive: If the file is stored in OneDrive, you can access it by signing into your OneDrive account. Look for the shared files section or check the "Shared with me" area to find files shared with you.
    3. Microsoft Teams: If the file was shared through Microsoft Teams, navigate to the relevant team or chat where the file was shared. You can find the file in the Files tab of the channel or in the chat history.
    4. Permissions: Ensure that you have the necessary permissions to access the file. If you encounter an error stating you don't have access, the person who shared the file may need to adjust the sharing settings to allow you access.
    5. Contact the Sharer: If you're still having trouble, reach out to the person who shared the file to confirm that it was shared correctly and that you have the right permissions.

If you continue to experience issues, consider checking the access request settings or the sharing settings in your SharePoint or OneDrive.
