How do I trace what happened to certain senders

or years I get emails confirming transactions from StubHub, United Airlines.Ticketmaster, Allianz. Not the case for the past several months. I get some advertising but that is about it. The pertinent ones are verified being sent and resent. The senders says there are no issues on their end yet somehow I am not receiving them. I have an Outlook email and use Apple equipment.

Any ideas why? and what can be done to get them again? thank you all!!!

    Hi Sonja,

    Welcome to Microsoft Q&A Forum!

Have a good day and I hope you're doing well!

To give me better insight for troubleshooting, could you please confirm whether you are using a Personal account (e.g., @outlook.com, @hotmail.com) or a Business/Organization account?

In the meantime, please try the following steps to narrow down the issue:

    1. Check Outlook on the Web: Please log in to your email via a web browser. This helps us verify if the emails are actually on the server but failing to sync to your Apple devices.

    2. Focused Inbox: If you have the Focused Inbox feature enabled, please switch to the "Other" tab to ensure these emails weren't automatically sorted there.

    3. Check Folders: Please do a thorough check of your Junk Email folder and Deleted Items folder, just in case the filters were too aggressive.

    4. Check Inbox Rules: Verify if there are any existing Rules that might be silently moving these specific emails to another folder or deleting them.

    • Click the Gear icon (Settings) at the top right corner of the Outlook Web page.
    • Go to Mail > Rules

Review the list to see if there are any rules affecting senders. If you find any, please disable or delete them.

    5. Safe Senders List: Based on my experience with similar issues, I highly recommend adding the senders' addresses to your Safe Senders list. This often forces the server to accept the emails. Once added, please ask the senders to resend the confirmation emails to see if they arrive.

Here is how to do it: Add recipients to the Safe Senders List

I hope these steps are helpful, at least partially. Please give them a try and let me know how it goes. If you have any updates or if I misunderstood anything, feel free to reach out anytime.
