    When using Classic Outlook, you can force Outlook to match the default folder language with the language that Outlook is installed in (the UI language).

    Start-> type; outlook.exe /resetfoldernames
    (note the space in the command above)

    This will not affect the language of Outlook on the Web (Outlook.com). You can change the language via this link directly to the "Language and time" Settings page;

    Hi, I'm John! I will help you with this.

    Did you receive any alerts, notice unusual activity, or received any notice that your security info was changed (email/phone updated)?

    In the meantime, about language changes:

    • You’ll need to update your language settings under the "Your Info" page. Visit: https://account.microsoft.com/profile/msa-language-settings and sign in with your Microsoft account.
    • This will open the "Your language settings" page.
    • From there, edit both your Display Language and Preferred Language.
    • Restart your PC and check Outlook again.

    Let me know how it goes.

    Click "Add comment" to let me know.

    Regards,

    John J.D.

    To change the language of the default folder names back to English in Outlook, you can follow these steps:

    1. Exit Outlook.
    2. Log on to Outlook on the web using your credentials.
    3. Go to Settings > View all Outlook settings.
    4. Select General > Language and time.
    5. In the Language list, change the language to English, and ensure the Rename default folders so their names match the specified language checkbox is selected.
    6. Save your settings and exit Outlook on the web.
    7. Restart Outlook and check if the folder names are now displayed in English.

    If the issue persists, you may also need to ensure that there are no existing folders with names that conflict with the default folder names in English. If there are, rename those folders to unique names before attempting to change the language again.
