Hello, thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A.

May I please know the exact error message the sender receives when they try to send an email to your account?

Send a test email from another one of your accounts to the affected email address. Check whether you receive any bounce-back (non-delivery) error messages or if the email gets stuck in the Outbox. If you receive an error, please share the complete error message here.

If the email is sent successfully, then please check your email forwarding rules and blocked senders list, and verify whether the messages have been routed to another folder, such as Junk or Spam.

To check the forwarding rules, open this link on any web browser.

    Email forwarding rules: https://outlook.live.com/mail/0/options/mail/forwarding

(Click Do not forward if your emails are being forwarded to another address)

Additionally, check that you have enough mailbox storage space available to send and receive emails.

(Go to Settings > Mail > Account > Storage)

If you're not receiving emails in Outlook and MSN, there are a few common issues that could be causing this problem. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot:

    1. Check for Rules: Sometimes, rules can be set up in Outlook that divert emails to different folders or even delete them. Make sure to check your rules to see if any might be affecting incoming emails.
    2. Repair Office Installation: If you're using an older version of Outlook, consider repairing your Office installation. This can resolve various issues related to sending and receiving emails. You can find instructions on how to repair your Office installation in the Microsoft support documentation.
    3. Update Office: Ensure that your Office installation is up to date. Sometimes, issues can arise from using an outdated version. You can check for updates in any Office application under the File menu, then Office Account.
    4. Check Your Connection: If you're on a metered connection, Outlook may limit its functionality. Make sure you're connected to a stable internet connection that isn't metered.
    5. Check Spam/Junk Folder: Sometimes, emails may end up in the spam or junk folder. Make sure to check these folders as well.

If these steps do not resolve the issue, you may want to reach out to Microsoft support for further assistance, especially since you are paying for the service.
