Here are several ways to check and resolve the problem as you mentioned:
- Check Local Group Policy
Win + R → gpedit.msc
Check:
Computer Configuration → Administrative Templates
User Configuration → Administrative Templates
Look especially at:
Windows Components → Microsoft Edge
Windows Components → Internet Explorer
Network → DNS Client
System → Internet Communication Management
If anything says Enabled that restricts websites, set to:
Not Configured
- Check DNS
If DNS is set manually, try switching to automatic OR Use:
8.8.8.8 or 1.1.1.1
- Check Windows Defender
Windows Security → App & Browser Control
Temporarily turn off:
Reputation-based protection
