This account was created for committee members to work on files together. We need to remove past committee members from having access, but can't seem to unshare.

    Hi,

Open OneDrive or SharePoint online and locate the shared folder or file. Select Manage Access or Sharing. You will see a list of people who currently have access. From there, remove any past committee members individually or change the link permissions so that only current members can access the files.

After removing users, make sure that any shared links are either updated or restricted, so old members cannot access the content via a previously shared link. This ensures only current committee members retain access.

To remove past committee members from shared access to files, you can follow these steps:

    1. Remove the affected user from the site: This can be done through the SharePoint site settings or the Microsoft 365 admin center.
    2. Share the file or folder again: After removing the user, you can re-share the file or folder with the current committee members.

If you continue to face issues, ensure that the permissions are correctly set for the files and that the users are properly removed from the site collection.
