Azure Stay Signed In prompt

So from this in my Azure portal if I wanted to turn of the stay signed in prompt from this link

Would there still be a way for me to create a policy where users would be still logged in even after the browser is closed for a certain period of time.
I was thinking of following something from here https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/entra/identity/conditional-access/howto-conditional-access-session-lifetime

Yes even if you turn off the “Stay signed in?” prompt, you can still control how long users remain signed in after closing the browser, but it’s done through Conditional Access session controls, not the stay‑signed‑in setting.
- Stay signed in prompt Only controls whether users are asked to persist the browser session.
- Conditional Access session lifetime Controls how long the authentication session is valid, regardless of the prompt.
Disabling the stay‑signed‑in prompt does not force users to sign out when the browser closes.
How to keep users signed in after browser close
You can configure a Conditional Access policy with:
- Sign‑in frequency → set to a specific duration (for example, 7 days)
- Optionally Persistent browser session → Always persistent
With this configuration:
- Users won’t see the “Stay signed in?” prompt
- Their session can remain valid across browser restarts
- Reauthentication happens only when the sign‑in frequency expires or another policy requires it
Notes:
- Browser cookies still apply — clearing cookies or using private/incognito mode will end the session
- Sign‑in frequency applies per app and per policy
- This works for both Entra ID and Entra ID–protected SaaS apps
