These files may be harmful to your computer

I don't recall, but I may have asked this before.

When I try to drag 'n drop (or sometimes even just a right click) on any file in my encrypted drive, this happens

FILES MAY BE HARMFUL

"Shaw details" only reveals the location of the encrypted partition

We are talking about any file, even the ones I have created myself. Simple word/text documents, screen shots, etc. The weird thing is that if I use the file explorer toolbar to cut/copy, then paste outside of the encrypted partition, no warning.

Veracrypt is the encryption software. Aside from what I described, it's fine. However, this was not always the case. It just started happening one day, literally years ago.

I tried posting on their support site, but never received any response.

I can literally drag 'n drop a file from the encrypted partition to my desktop, get the warning, and immediately drag 'n drop it back to the original location, with no warning, and then drag it back to the desktop, where the warning will once again reappear.

    Hi

This message is coming from Windows and not Veracrypt

Specifically, It is coming from Windows Explorer + Internet Security / SmartScreen logic.

Windows decides how safe a file is based not only on what the file is, but where it appears to come from. Based on research, there is no known work around to fix this. I will update if I find something.
