I have a 5-person office, all on Mac, and I have Microsoft365 Family. Do I use Family or Sharing to allow all 5 of us to use Word and Excel on our desktops. But I don't want to share information with others.

Microsoft 365 Family allows you to share with another 5 users. Each user must have their own Microsoft account in order for you to share with them.

Use this instruction to share with them: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/share-your-microsoft-365-family-or-premium-subscription-b389b9ce-3ae3-4a82-9017-39d79972fcba

This doesn't share your files. Each of you will be on your own account.
