How this happaned? I don't know.
I have NEVER correlated / linked the two together.
I have contacted 'support' THREE times; absolutely unhelpful and request I contact "outlook support" which DOES NOT exist. It log-in loops me into NOTHING.
What name do you see when you log into your Microsoft account at https://account.microsoft.com/profile ? That is the name used for email. You can change it to something else.
If your real name is not the display name, where did you see your real name? If in a message from someone, they have your real name and address in their contacts.
Thank you for the fast and helpful response; apologies I did not see it until just now ( I was expecting a notification in my e-mail but didn't get one for some reason?)
My profile name on that link is the same as my username here; Just4garb, however, when I go to send myself an e-mail on this account, upon typing in the start of my email, above it (a label of some kind appears), the name that appears is as my real name that I have not set anywhere or given any permissions of anykind at all, whatsoever, with my email directly below.
I can upload an image if it helps at all. (I even checked the contact card and it has my real name too, but upon attempting to 'update your profile' my 'just4garb' is being displayed)
It is very strange.
