To regain access to your Microsoft system admin account when you have forgotten the password and do not have the Microsoft Authenticator app set up, you can follow these steps:

    1. Contact Microsoft Data Protection Support: Since you are unable to access your account due to the lack of the Authenticator app, you should reach out to Microsoft support. You can call their Global Customer Service and request to speak with an agent. Explain that you are the sole administrator and have lost access to your account.
    2. Use the IVR System Effectively: When calling, navigate through the IVR (Interactive Voice Response) system by indicating that you are a business email user and need technical support. Make sure to mention that you are the only admin in your organization.
    3. Create a Temporary Account (Trial Tenant): If you are still unable to reach a live agent, consider creating a trial Microsoft 365 tenant. This will allow you to access the Admin Center and submit a support ticket requesting assistance from the Data Protection team regarding your previous account.
    4. Follow Up: After submitting your request, follow up with Microsoft support to ensure your issue is being addressed.

These steps should help you regain access to your account.
