If your PC is still on Windows 11 version 23H2, it may be due to several reasons:
- End of Servicing: As of November 11, 2025, the Home and Pro editions of Windows 11 version 23H2 reached end of servicing, which means they will no longer receive updates, including feature updates to newer versions like 25H2. If your device is not managed by an IT department, it should automatically update to the latest version, but if it hasn't, it may require manual intervention.
- Update Settings: Ensure that your Windows Update settings are configured to receive updates automatically. You can check this by going to Settings > Windows Update and verifying that the option for getting the latest updates as soon as they're available is turned on.
- Compatibility Issues: Sometimes, certain hardware or software configurations can prevent updates from being applied. Check for any compatibility issues that might be affecting your ability to upgrade.
- Manual Update: If automatic updates are not working, you can manually check for updates by going to Settings > Windows Update and selecting Download & Install.
Since version 23H2 is no longer supported, it is recommended to upgrade to version 25H2 to ensure you receive the latest features and security updates.
