To add an Apple iPad to your Microsoft 365 plan, you need to ensure that you have the Microsoft 365 apps installed on the device. You can do this by following these steps:

    1. Download the Microsoft 365 Apps: Go to the Apple App Store on your iPad and search for the Microsoft 365 apps you want to use (such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
    2. Sign in: After downloading the apps, open them and sign in with your Microsoft 365 account credentials.
    3. Device Limit: Since you mentioned that you are only using 2 of the 5 allowable devices, you should be able to add your iPad without any issues.

Make sure your iPad meets the system requirements for Microsoft 365 apps to ensure a smooth experience.
