I'm having an issue with my Outlook account, and I can't view PST files. Is there having any method to view PST files in bulk.

If you don't have Microsoft Outlook but need to view a PST file, you can use third-party software designed to open PST files. There are several free and paid tools available that can help you view the contents of PST files without needing Outlook. Some popular options include:

    1. PST Viewer: This is a dedicated tool that allows you to open and view PST files without Outlook.
    2. Kernel for PST Viewer: A free tool that provides a user-friendly interface to open and read PST files.
    3. SysTools PST Viewer: Another option that allows you to view PST files without Outlook.

These tools typically allow you to view emails, contacts, and other data stored in the PST file. However, ensure to download software from reputable sources to avoid security risks.

You can also try MSOutlookHelp PST Viewer to open PST files without Outlook. While Outlook is the default program for PST files, this tool provides a faster and more reliable way to access your data. It lets you view and manage PST files without needing Outlook and export the data to multiple formats such as PDF, PST, MBOX, MSG, EML, and more. The tools have multiple features like View PST Files in Bulk in which users can access large, oversized, and multiple PST files at the same time as accessing the thousands of files will be difficult through manual method. Therefore, you can try this software to access the data fast and error-free.

    Hello Abhilash,

If you do not have Microsoft Outlook installed, you can still view PST files using alternative methods. Since PST files are proprietary Outlook data files, they typically require Outlook to open directly; however, there are practical solutions available.

    Use a PST Viewer Tool

You can use PST Viewer Tool by SysInfoTools, which is available on the Microsoft Marketplace, to open PST files without installing Outlook. These tools let you view emails, attachments, contacts, calendars, and other data in an organized way.

View Multiple PST Files at Once

If you have many PST files, choose a PST Viewer or Converter tool that supports bulk loading. With these tools, you can:

    • Open several PST files at the same time
    • Easily browse mailbox data
    • Search for specific emails
    • Work with large PST files without issues

    Convert PST to Another Format

You can also convert PST files into formats like EML, PDF, or HTML. After conversion, you can open and read the files using other email programs or regular document viewers, even without Outlook.

    Dear @Abhilash Dogra,
Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum.

I understand you need to view PST files, but Microsoft Outlook is not available or you’re unable to access them through your Outlook account.
A PST (Outlook Data File) is designed to be opened from Outlook for Windows. Both Classic Outlook and new Outlook for Windows can work with PST files, but the experience is not the same:

Classic Outlook for Windows provides the most complete PST experience (this is typically the preferred option when you need full access to PST content).

new Outlook for Windows can open PST files, but PST support may be limited depending on the feature availability and configuration. Microsoft’s guidance indicates that opening PST files in new Outlook requires Classic Outlook to also be installed, and PST access in new Outlook is managed from Settings > Files > Outlook Data Files.

I recommend If you need the most reliable access to PST content and to work with multiple PST files, using Classic Outlook for Windows is the most complete and supported way to do so.

For detail: Open and close Outlook Data Files (.pst)

However, if Outlook cannot be used on the device, some customers consider third‑party PST viewer tools to open PST files in bulk, as our Q&A Assist advised. Please note that these tools are not provided, tested, or supported by Microsoft, so we recommend reviewing your organization’s security and compliance requirements before using any non‑Microsoft software.

Please understand that our initial response does not always resolve the issue immediately. However, with your help and more detailed information, we can work together to find a solution.

I truly appreciate your patience and understanding. If you have any further questions or need further clarification, please feel free to reach out. I'm looking forward to hearing from you.

    Thank you for your cooperation.
