On 23rd February 2026, someone took over the control of my live ID (******@hotmail.com). I've changed my password number of times but that person is creating junk from my ID and sending spam email from my ID to the recipients. Even I've enabled two factor sign-in via microsoft authenticator but still someone is still accessing my inbox, even changing the language and date & time.

    Hi fahad,

It appears that the hacker still has access or some rules are in place. Could you review this article: https://www.yourwindowsguide.com/2026/02/outlook-hacked-draft-email.html and follow all the steps?

I believe this should take care of the issue.

I’m eager to hear back and work together to find a solution.

It sounds like your account has been compromised despite your efforts to secure it. Here are some steps you can take to regain control and secure your account:

    1. Change Your Password Again: Make sure to choose a strong and unique password that you haven't used before.
    2. Enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA): Since you've already enabled this, ensure that it is set up correctly and that you have access to the authentication method.
    3. Check Account Recovery Options: Make sure that your recovery email and phone number are correct and that no unauthorized changes have been made.
    4. Review Account Activity: Check for any suspicious activity in your account settings, including any rules that may have been set up to forward emails or send spam.
    5. Sign Out Everywhere: Use the option to sign out of all sessions to terminate any unauthorized access.
    6. Contact Microsoft Support: If you continue to face issues, reach out to Microsoft Support for assistance in recovering your account and securing it against further unauthorized access.
    7. Monitor for Suspicious Activity: Keep an eye on your account for any further suspicious activity and consider changing your password regularly.

It's crucial to act quickly to prevent further misuse of your account.
