I noticed a recurring charge of about $13/month for Microsoft 365 Apps for Business.

I did not realize I subscribed to this service and recently cancelled the subscription.

I am a student and did not intend to use a business plan.

and I was unable to contact the Microsoft support.

Could you please help check and see if a refund is possible for recent charges?

To request a refund for an unwanted Microsoft subscription, you can follow these steps:

    1. Check Eligibility for a Refund: Generally, you can request a refund for recurring charges within 72 hours of the start of the billing term or its renewal. Since you mentioned you recently canceled the subscription, you may still be eligible for a refund depending on when the charge occurred.
    2. Contact Microsoft Support: Since you had difficulty contacting Microsoft support, you can try the following methods:
      • Visit the Microsoft Support website and use the chat option to speak with a support agent.
      • Alternatively, you can leave your phone number for them to call you.
    3. Use the Refund Request Process: You can refer to the official Microsoft support article on how to get a refund on a Microsoft subscription. This will guide you through the necessary steps to submit a refund request.
    4. Dispute with Your Bank: If you are unable to resolve the issue with Microsoft, consider contacting your bank to dispute the charge, especially if it was unauthorized.

Make sure to have your account details and any relevant transaction information handy when you contact support for a smoother process.
