How to reassign the sticky keys shortcut

In some games I use the right-shift key in combination with the up-arrow to perform a function (run). Even though I have sticky key functions all turned off, somehow I believe the sticky keys shortcut is executed anyway and it crashes the game leaving my keyboard unresponsive. A hard reboot is required to restore function.

I wish to reassign the shortcut key for sticky keys to something I NEVER press like the \ key ;)

I installed Windows Power Tools, but don't see the sticky keys shortcut to edit.

Click your Start Button, type regedit and hit Enter to open the Registry Editor.

Click View and make sure 'Address Bar' is turned on.

Paste this into the Address Bar at the top and hit Enter.

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Accessibility\StickyKeys

In the right hand pane, double click the Flags entry, set its Value Data to 506 and click OK.

Close the Registry Editor and restart (not shut down) your PC to apply the change.
