Hello,
I restored my OneDrive to a previous date, but many files show "Item Not Found" and were not recovered. The files were deleted less than a week ago. Please perform a backend recovery check for my account. This data is very important.
Thank you.

    Hi Majid,

Did you delete the files that were not found, intentionally and clear the Recycle Bin?

If that is the case, I am afraid it cannot be restored if you Restore Onedrive.

I’m eager to hear back and work together to find a solution.

If you restored your OneDrive to a previous date and are encountering "Item Not Found" errors for many files, there are a few steps you can take to attempt recovery:

    1. Check the Recycle Bin: Deleted files are typically moved to the Recycle Bin, where they are retained for a designated period. For work or school accounts, this is usually 93 days. You can access the Recycle Bin through your OneDrive interface to see if the missing files are there and restore them.
    2. Version History: If the files were overwritten rather than deleted, you might be able to restore previous versions. Navigate to the affected document library, right-click the file, and select "Version History" to see if earlier versions are available for restoration.
    3. Contact Support: If the files are not found in the Recycle Bin or through version history, you may need to contact your SharePoint admin or Microsoft support for assistance. They may have access to audit logs or backups that could help recover your data.
    4. Microsoft 365 Backup: If your organization uses Microsoft 365 Backup, you can restore data from a backup. This allows you to select a restore point and recover files that may not be available through standard recovery options.

It's important to act quickly, as the ability to recover files diminishes over time due to the retention policies in place.
