After logging to Microsoft account the device was stil in and I have clicked on details(or something like that) to get my bitlocker keys for the disks, the message came up with a fault and after that the device has disappeared from my account.

Now I cant get my bitlocker keyes and my data is locked because the comp in question has an issue with power supply and the batery is empty.

Why my device has been removed by itself?

How can I get my bitlocker keys?

If your drive is encrypted with Bitlocker, the only place the Bitlocker Recovery key is automatically stored is on the associated Microsoft account on the link below, be sure to check any Microsoft account that may have been used on the PC and also any work or school account that may be linked to the PC.

Are you able to find/access the Bitlocker Recovery Key on any account that may have been used or linked to the laptop?

If not, do you have a safe backup of your files, or use a cloud service like OneDrive to sync your files online.

It seems that your device may have been removed from your Microsoft account due to a temporary glitch or an issue with the synchronization of devices. This can happen if there is a problem with the Microsoft account service or if the device was not properly registered.

To retrieve your BitLocker keys, you can try the following steps:

    1. Check Microsoft Entra ID: If your device was enrolled in Microsoft Entra ID, you might be able to access the BitLocker recovery keys there. You can do this by logging into your Microsoft account and navigating to the devices section to see if the keys are listed.
    2. Contact IT Support: If your device is managed by an organization, contact your IT support team. They may have access to the recovery keys or can assist you in retrieving them.
    3. Use the Intune Company Portal: If your device is enrolled in Intune, you can access the recovery key through the Intune Company Portal. Sign in to the portal and look for your device under the devices section.
    4. Check for Local Recovery Options: If you have previously saved the recovery key to a USB drive or printed it, check those locations as well.

If none of these options work, you may need to consider recovery options that could lead to data loss, such as using a recovery image, as mentioned in the context.
