    Hi Kshitiz Regmi

Welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum and thank you for your question.

I understand why this is confusing - LinkedIn treats email addresses and accounts very strictly, and unfortunately two separate LinkedIn accounts can’t be merged into one.

    • If the Gmail address and the Outlook address were each used to create separate LinkedIn accounts, they cannot be linked or combined.
    • Changing the primary email only works within the same LinkedIn account, not across two different accounts.

If LinkedIn is not allowing the email to be added or changed, the only option is to contact LinkedIn Support, as they’re the only ones who can review account‑level restrictions.

I know this isn’t straightforward, but once everything is under a single LinkedIn account, the email confusion should be resolved.

Thank you for your time and I hope you have a great day
