So Im trying to get onto my ssd which was on my laptop which has had its motherboard destroyed. So I tried to get my bitlocker key from my microsoft account that I only created for my pc. But when I logged in it tells me it locked my account and is now asking for a phone number. The issue is I didnt even know my account had a phone number because the only other time I ever logged in was when windows randomly removed my password and never asked for verification. And I have a new phone number now. So I dont know how to access my encryption key. I tried to fill out that one form but I said I was denied... One question I gave about that when it asks for my name does it want to original name with the account or the most recent name. (That I changed because I thought it would change the user folder name). But I also heard about a 30day wait window. How do I know if this has started? Cause that annoying but atleast I can get my data back. I had a bunch of school work saved on my drive an now Im being forced to redo it. I feel like I have all the data to prove its my hardrive an account like I could probably even provide the account creation data the full phone number the name of the account the computer serial number literary everything and Im just kinda pissed that they won't give me my data.

What can I do?
