Billing prematurely for subscription

I purchased a computer with free 12 months of Microsoft 365. When registering, I was asked if I would like an additional 2 months free by signing up for auto renewal. I was assured my account would not be billed until FEBRUARY 2027. My account was billed 12 months prematurely. I want to get a refund for this charge.

If you were billed prematurely for your Microsoft 365 subscription, you can request a refund for the charge. Here are the steps you can follow:

    1. Check your subscription details: Sign in to your Microsoft account and go to the Services & subscriptions page to verify your subscription status and billing details.
