Not getting e-mails from certain domain

I often send emails from my work/company email to my home email (live.ca), but as of today they stopped being received. I've asked other people at work to try as well, and they're not receiving them in their home accounts either. The IT guy said they're saying delivered on the server, so it must be an issue with hotmail/live.ca. I've checked all my settings and added the domain to my safe sender list, etc, no rules set up or anything. I've tried both on my phone and desktop. Is there an issue all of a sudden?

    Hello,

Do you mind sharing the domain name, for example, @business.com?

It sounds like you are experiencing issues with emails not being received from your work email to your home email (live.ca). Since your IT department has confirmed that the emails are being delivered on their end, the problem may indeed lie with the receiving email service (Hotmail/Live). Here are a few steps you can consider:

    1. Check Spam/Junk Folder: Sometimes, emails can mistakenly end up in the spam or junk folder. Make sure to check there.
    2. Whitelist the Domain: You mentioned adding the domain to your safe sender list, which is good. Ensure that this is done correctly and that there are no additional filters or rules that might be blocking these emails.
    3. Email Throttling: If your work email is sending a large volume of emails, it might be temporarily throttled by the receiving service. This can happen if the email service detects suspicious activity.
    4. Contact Support: If the issue persists, consider reaching out to the support team of the email service (Hotmail/Live) to see if there are any known issues or blocks on their end.
    5. Network Configuration: Ensure that your network allows connections from the IP addresses used by your work email service, as restrictions could prevent emails from being delivered.

If these steps do not resolve the issue, it may be beneficial to continue working with your IT department to investigate further.
