    Dear Vaishwik Rathod,

Thank you for posting your question on the Microsoft Q&A forum.

If you have an issue with Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), please ask for support from the Global admin/IT in your organization, who can assist you with resetting MFA as follows:

    • Go to Microsoft Entra Admin Center: https://entra.microsoft.com
    • Navigate to Users > All Users.
    • Select the affected account.
    • Go to Authentication Methods.
    • Click "Revoke multifactor authentication sessions" and then select "Require re-register multifactor authentication".
    • User's image

Once this is completed, you should be able to sign in again and set up MFA on your new phone.

I hope the information above is helpful. If you have any further questions, please feel free to reach out.

If you have changed your device and are unable to receive the verification code through the Microsoft Authenticator app, you may need to reset your multi-factor authentication (MFA) settings. Here are some steps you can take:

    1. Alternative Sign-in Method: If you have set up other verification options, try using those to sign in. Look for an option like "Other verification options" on the sign-in page.
    2. Contact Admin: If you are part of an organization, contact your administrator to reset your MFA settings. They can do this through the Microsoft Entra Admin Center by navigating to Users > All Users, selecting your account, and requiring re-registration of MFA.
    3. Microsoft Data Protection Team: If you are the only administrator in your organization and cannot access your account, you will need to contact Microsoft support. Look for the customer service phone numbers for your region and follow the prompts to reach the Data Protection team. They can assist you in regaining access to your account.
    4. New Trial Tenant: As a last resort, you can set up a new trial tenant to submit a support request. This will not give you access to your original account's data but will allow you to contact Microsoft support for assistance with your locked account.

Make sure to provide detailed information about your locked account when contacting support, including your administrator email and any error messages you receive.
