If you have a Microsoft 365 subscription under an account which uses a non-Microsoft e-mail address, the associated outlook.com e-mail address will be "outlook_" followed by a sequence of numbers. You can create an outlook.com alias for your account and use that alias on the web.
Outlook signing in to random account
Whenever I try to sign in on the outlook mobile website, it says there is an error saying “something went wrong” and then giving me a ton of lines of writing for why it went wrong that I don’t understand when I click “more info”. So I switch to the pc version and it lets me in. But when I look, none of my email are there and I’m signed into a random outlook account ive never seen before “******@outlook.com”. And when I open the accounts tab to switch inboxes, I click on my main account to try to switch to it and it just doesn’t work. It just reloads the page and signs me back into the same random account. Also, the reason im trying to sign in on outlook mobile is because im trying to make it so that anything in my junk inbox is automatically deleted so if you could also help with that it would be amazing.
With much thanks,
Ethan

Learn moreIt sounds like you're experiencing a couple of issues with signing into your Outlook account on the mobile website. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot the problem:
- Clear Cache and Cookies: Sometimes, clearing your browser's cache and cookies can resolve sign-in issues. Try this on your mobile browser and then attempt to sign in again.
- Use the Outlook App: If possible, consider downloading the Outlook app for mobile devices. It often provides a more seamless experience than the mobile website.
- Check for Multiple Accounts: Since you mentioned being signed into a random account, ensure that you are entering the correct email address. You might have multiple Outlook accounts, and it’s possible to switch between them. If you are unable to switch accounts, try logging out completely and then logging back in with your main account.
- Account Recovery: If you suspect that you are accessing an account that is not yours, you may want to check if your main account is still active and not compromised. You can use the account recovery options provided by Microsoft.
- Junk Mail Settings: To automatically delete junk mail, you can set up rules in your Outlook settings. However, this may need to be done from a desktop version or the Outlook app, as mobile options might be limited.
If you continue to face issues, you may want to reach out to Microsoft support for further assistance.
