    Dear @Gubata, Vicky@DTSC,

Good day. Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum!

I understand that you're looking to change ownership of scheduled meetings in a way that doesn’t notify all the recipients with cancellation and new notices.

Unfortunately, in Microsoft Outlook, once a meeting is set up, the organizer cannot be changed. This means you cannot transfer the organizational duties to someone else and remove yourself from the meeting without canceling it. The meeting organizer role is fixed and cannot be reassigned.

Allowing changes to the meeting organizer could lead to confusion and inconsistencies. For example, if multiple people could change the organizer, it might become unclear who has the final authority over the meeting details

The way Outlook and Exchange Server are designed, the meeting organizer’s role is deeply integrated into the system’s architecture. Changing this role would require significant changes to the underlying code and data structures.

These reasons ensure that meetings remain consistent and manageable, even if it means some limitations on flexibility.

In cases where you do not wish to cancel and recreate the meeting, an alternative workaround you may consider is adding co‑organizers to the Microsoft Teams meeting.

Please note that the Co‑organizer feature is only available for Microsoft Teams meetings, and all co‑organizers must belong to the same tenant as the organizer. This workaround does not change the ownership of the meeting. However, it can help ensure that the meeting continues to operate smoothly in cases where the organizer is unable to attend.

For reference, please refer to: Add co-organizers to a meeting in Microsoft Teams

I genuinely hope the information I share helps guide you in the right direction, and I'm always here to assist as much as I can within my scope.

Again, I truly appreciate your patience and understanding. If you have any further questions or need clarification, please feel free to reach out. I'm looking forward to hearing from you.

Your understanding and co-operation are highly appreciated. Thank you for your precious time. Have a nice day!
