Hello

Is it permitted to use the trial version of the Microsoft Development Program to test an add-on that we developed in-house for commercial release?

    Hi Monserrat Ramirez

Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Q&A Forum.

Based on Microsoft’s documentation, the Microsoft 365 Developer Program may be used to design, develop, and test add-ins or solutions that are intended for future commercial release. This means you can use your Microsoft 365 Developer Program environment to build and validate your add-on before making it available commercially.

However, please note that the Developer Program is intended for development and testing purposes only and should not be used for production or live commercial workloads.

You can refer to the terms and conditions for more details: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/office/developer-program/terms-and-conditions

    I hope this helps.

Yes, it is permitted to use the trial version of the Microsoft 365 Developer Program to test an add-in that you developed in-house for commercial release. The Developer Program provides resources and tools to help developers create and test their applications before they are commercially released. This includes the ability to use trial versions to ensure that your add-in functions correctly and meets the necessary requirements before going live.
