    Hi Elijahs Brook,
Welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum. I'm happy to help.

Does your laptop come with Realtek Audio chipset?

If you have Realtek Audio chipset, you may use DDU to completely clean up old Realtek Audio drivers before installing new one. It's best to run DDU on Safe Mode.

Then you may install "Realtek Audio Console", this is the application to manage the Realtek audio chipset built into your motherboard. You can install it by going to your motherboard's website or through the Microsoft Store.

    Hi, good day!

    • When was the last time it worked properly?

Have you made any changes to your computer recently?

Have you tried the methods suggested by the AI?

Please try connecting your Wired headphones on another computer then see if the issue persists.

If it still doesn't work there, your wired headphones may be broken.

I look forward to receiving your update and I'm willing to collaborate with you till we resolve the issue. Do keep me informed by clicking "Add comment" below.

To troubleshoot the issue of no sound through wired headphones on your Lenovo ThinkPad running Windows 11 Pro, you can follow these steps:

    1. Check Headphone Connection: Ensure that your headphones are properly plugged into the headphone jack. Sometimes, a loose connection can cause sound issues.
    2. Set Headphones as Default Device: Right-click the sound icon in the taskbar, select "Sounds," go to the "Playback" tab, and ensure that your headphones are set as the default playback device.
    3. Update Audio Drivers: Open Device Manager, expand the "Sound, video and game controllers" section, right-click your audio device, and select "Update driver." You can also visit your device manufacturer's website to download the latest audio drivers.
    4. Run the Audio Troubleshooter: Go to Settings > System > Troubleshoot > Other troubleshooters and run the "Playing Audio" troubleshooter. This tool can help identify and fix common audio issues.
    5. Check for Windows Updates: Ensure that your Windows is up to date by going to Settings > Windows Update and checking for updates. Sometimes, updates can fix compatibility issues.
    6. Test with Different Headphones: If possible, try using a different pair of wired headphones to determine if the issue is with the headphones themselves.

If these steps do not resolve the issue, there may be a deeper hardware or software problem that requires further investigation.
