I need help PLEASE I have been trying to access my Azure credits for the last 5 days and first I had some how changed the Global Admin so I was locked out for that. When I finally got that fixed Azure somehow changed my account from personal to a business account (which I don't understand why thats a problem I am a startup getting startup credits but anyways) so now I can NOT even see the $1000 credit on my dashboard as I did before. SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME WHAT TO DO??? P.S I also submitted my business details to get verified for the other $5000 for startup. This has put my workflow days behind.

    Hi Elizabeth Outlaw,

Thanks for reaching out in Microsoft Q&A forum,

Your Azure startup credits from Microsoft for Startups Founders Hub (previously visible as $1000) are likely tied to a specific "Azure Sponsorship" subscription under your original personal Microsoft Account (MSA), and switching to a business/tenant account hides them because views differ between personal and organizational dashboards.

The Global Admin change and account type shift (common in Founders Hub setups) often causes visibility/sync issues, but credits aren't lost business verification for the extra $5000 can still proceed once resolved

Here's the mix to get you unstuck:

    • Quick status checks: Log into foundershub.startups.microsoft.com with your personal MSA peek at benefits/credits for the sub-ID and $5000 progress (verifications take ~7 days).
    • Portal hunt: Same login at portal.azure.com > Cost Management + Billing > Credits. Sponsorship shows here, not in PAYG/business subs.
    • Prime fix support ticket: Founders Hub "?" > Submit Support (Here is the direct link: foundershub.startups.microsoft.com/support-form. Include screenshots of the redirect, your signup email, Azure tenant ID, and account email. Response times vary, but this escalates to the right team.). Detail the full saga (admin change, account flip, screenshots/emails/Hub ID)—they relink fast, 24-48 hours typical.
    • Backup: Azure Portal > Help + support > New request > Billing > Credits issue (free tier).

    Official docs:

Kindly let us know if the above helps or you need further assistance on this issue.

It sounds like you're experiencing multiple issues with your Azure account and credits. Here are some steps you can take to resolve these problems:

    1. Global Admin Access: Since you mentioned that you changed the Global Admin, ensure that you have the correct admin access restored. If you need to take administrator ownership of the account, you can follow the steps outlined in the Azure documentation for account takeover.
    2. Account Type Change: If your account has changed from personal to business, this might affect how your credits are displayed. It's important to verify that your account is set up correctly for the Microsoft for Startups Investor Offer. You may need to contact support to clarify why this change occurred and how to rectify it.
    3. Azure Credits Visibility: If you cannot see your $1,000 credit on your dashboard, it may take up to 24 hours for credits to appear after activation. Ensure that you have activated your credits properly through the Microsoft for Startups Portal. If the issue persists, contacting support would be the best course of action.
    4. Support Contact: For any activation issues or if you encounter errors, you can reach out to support through the Microsoft for Startups Portal at https://aka.ms/startuphelp-mfs-portal. They can provide assistance specific to your account and help resolve the visibility of your credits.
    5. Verification for Additional Credits: Since you've submitted your business details for verification to access the additional $5,000 in credits, keep an eye on your email for any updates regarding your verification status.

By following these steps and reaching out to support, you should be able to resolve the issues with your Azure credits and get back on track with your workflow.
