How can my .msn account be restarted? Due to an illness I was unable to respond to my email with the warning that my account would be deleted without a response with the next few days. But I didn't catch this in time to avoid losing my account. Please help with restarting.

Hello, thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A.

Could you please let me know when you last successfully signed in to your MSN email account?

According to the Microsoft account activity policy, if you haven't signed in to your account for more than 2 years, your account will be placed in an inactive state and then closed. In this case, you will not be able to use the Account Recovery Form to recover your account.

Unfortunately, if your .msn account has been deleted due to inactivity, it is likely permanently deleted. Microsoft permanently deletes accounts that have not been accessed in 2 years, and once deleted, the account cannot be restored or reused. You may want to create a new account if you need access to Microsoft services again.
