Hello, I would like to ask for help. Since the beginning, I have not been able to download the WhatsApp application even though I am using Windows 11. Every time I try to download it, I am redirected to the Microsoft Store, but it only keeps loading and never opens. As a result, I cannot download the WhatsApp application.

Please help me—what should I do?

    Hi, good day!

Please let me know if you have tried the methods below.

    • If you have a third-party VPN or Antivirus installed, please try to temporarily uninstall it then check if the issue persists.
    • Please try signing out your Microsoft Account from the Microsoft Store then sign-in again
    • Reset the Microsoft Store cache

Press the Windows Logo Key + R to open the Run dialog box,

    type wsreset.exe -i

    and then select OK.

    Note:

A blank Command Prompt window will open, and after about ten seconds the window will close, and Microsoft Store will open automatically.

After that, download and install the WhatsApp installer in the link below.

If you're having trouble downloading the WhatsApp application on Windows 11 and the Microsoft Store is not opening properly, here are some troubleshooting steps you can try:

    1. Check Internet Connection: Ensure that your internet connection is stable and working properly.
    2. Restart Microsoft Store: Sometimes, simply restarting the Microsoft Store can resolve loading issues. Close the Store and reopen it.
    3. Check Microsoft Store Install Service:
      • Press Windows Key + S and type services.msc.
      • Find the Microsoft Store Install Service, double-click it, and ensure it is running. If it is not, set it to Automatic and start the service.
    4. Change Region Settings: Try changing your region to the United States temporarily to see if that resolves the issue.
    5. Verify Firewall/Proxy Settings: Ensure that your firewall or proxy settings are not blocking the Microsoft Store. You may need to check that the required endpoints for Microsoft Store are accessible.
    6. Re-register Microsoft Store: You can re-register the Microsoft Store using PowerShell:
      • Open PowerShell as an administrator and run the following command:
             Get-AppxPackage *Microsoft.WindowsStore* -AllUsers

      • If it shows that the Store is installed, you can try re-registering it with:
             Add-AppxPackage -Register -DisableDevelopmentMode "C:\Program Files\WindowsApps\Microsoft.WindowsStore_8wekyb3d8bbwe\AppxManifest.xml"

    7. Check for Windows Updates: Make sure your Windows 11 is up to date, as updates can fix bugs and improve performance.

If these steps do not resolve the issue, you may want to consider reaching out to Microsoft support for further assistance.
