go Settings/Accounts/Linked devices

select these pc from the list

select Warranty and repair

opens Microsoft account web page, then get

TraceID: [PII Removed]

Something happened. Wait a bit, then try again. If this issue persists, contact us.

traceid changes with each attempt

This pc is not listed in Microsoft account/Devices

go to Microsoft Store device management

there are 10 entries, 2 of which are blank and assumed to be the missing pc's.

    Hi Chris Brittan

Welcome to the Microsoft Q&A Forum!

I understand how frustrating this is, especially when everything looks correctly linked in Windows but breaks the moment you try to manage the device online.

When synchronization between these systems breaks:

    • The Microsoft Store still has a shell record for the device
    • The device metadata (name, model, warranty info) never loads
    • The result is a blank entry with only an icon and an Unlink option

What you can do right now

1)Confirm the device is correctly linked (sanity check)

    • Settings → Accounts → Your info
    • Confirms you are signed in with a Microsoft account
    • Settings → Accounts → Linked devices
    • Confirms the PC is listed

If both are true, the device is properly linked on your side.

2)Use the manufacturer’s warranty tools as a workaround

Until Microsoft fixes the Devices and warranty portal:

    • Use the PC manufacturer’s warranty and support site (Dell, HP, Lenovo, ASUS, etc.)
    • Manufacturer warranty status is independent of Microsoft’s device inventory

This avoids the broken Microsoft redirect entirely.
