I think I created a Windows recovery tool on my internal Drive on my new computer

I have a brand new notebook. I went to create a Windows recovery tool and I'm not sure if I created it on my internal D drive or a USB drive I had connected.

Would the D drive be visible on the new computer?

How could I check?

Thanks.

    Thanks for sharing the screenshots.

Based on the screenshots, your computer does not have a D drive. It has only a C Drive and two healthy EFI and Recovery partitions.

May I ask how you create a Windows recovery tool?

It seems your other computer has 2 drives C and D, which is why it assigned letter F to the USB Storage.

    Thank you.

In File Explorer I can only see Disk C under This PC.
In Disk Management I can see C:
    (Disk 0 Partition 1)

    (Disk 0 Partition 2)

To check if your D drive is visible on your new computer, you can follow these steps:

    1. Open File Explorer: You can do this by clicking on the folder icon in your taskbar or pressing Windows + E on your keyboard.
    2. Look for the D Drive: In the left sidebar, you should see a list of drives under "This PC". Look for the D drive listed there. If it's visible, you can click on it to see its contents.
    3. Check Disk Management: If you don't see the D drive in File Explorer, you can check Disk Management. Right-click on the Start button and select "Disk Management". This will show you all the drives connected to your computer, including any partitions that may not be visible in File Explorer.

If the D drive is listed in Disk Management but not in File Explorer, it may not have a drive letter assigned to it. You can assign a drive letter by right-clicking on the partition and selecting "Change Drive Letter and Paths".

If you created the recovery tool on the D drive, you should be able to find it there if the drive is accessible.
