Description: I am attempting to register my educational institution for a Microsoft 365 Education subscription. However, I am currently stuck in a support loop where my registration is blocked, I cannot access the admin mailbox, and I am unable to open a support ticket from within the admin center.

1. Registration Error (Code 43881): During the registration process, I received the following error:

2. Access Error (HTTP 500): While I can log into the admin console, I cannot access the admin email account. It fails with a "BootResult: fail" and Error 500.

3. Fiscal & Domain Issues:

Tax ID: The system rejects our University’s Fiscal ID as "invalid." We are located in the Canary Islands (Spain), which operates under IGIC tax rules, differing from mainland Spain’s VAT (IVA).

Domain Verification: When trying to verify our domain, the system states it is "already in use by another organization." I cannot perform an Admin Takeover because the internal support tools are inaccessible.

4. Support Inaccessibility: I have tried opening a ticket via support.serviceshub.microsoft.com, but it redirects me back to the admin console where the support features are either missing or non-functional. Phone support has been unsuccessful as the automated system cannot resolve this specific verification block.

Request: I need an agent to manually verify our institution, override the fiscal ID error for the Canary Islands, and assist in releasing our domain from the previous "unmanaged" tenant.

    Hello @Jorge González Mecías

Welcome to the Microsoft Q&A Community!

Thank you for sharing what you have been experiencing. I am truly sorry for the disruption and stress this has caused. I recognize how frustrating it is to be blocked at multiple points and to feel as though there is no clear path forward.

While I unfortunately do not have access to your tenant details or the ability to make changes directly as a forum moderator, I want to ensure you have a clear, practical plan to reach the right support and move this to resolution as quickly as possible.

    Reaching Microsoft Support by Phone

When you call the regional Microsoft support number, an automated message may play for roughly thirty seconds with general guidance. It is completely acceptable to wait through this introduction until the menu begins. Once you are presented with options, press 1 to indicate you are a business email user, and press 1 again for technical help. This route places you in the correct queue for Microsoft 365 technical assistance.

Because agent availability can fluctuate during busy periods, please consider calling two to three times on different workdays. Multiple attempts often increase the likelihood of connecting with an agent who can open the ticket on your behalf.

    After a Ticket Is Created

After the ticket is submitted, it may take from some days before it is assigned to a support engineer. This delay is not a reflection of your issue’s importance, but rather current demand. Please allow five to seven days for assignment. During that window, you may not see immediate updates, but your request will remain in the queue and will be routed to the appropriate team.

If Your Subscription Was Purchased Through a Partner or Reseller

If your organization obtained Microsoft 365 Business or Education through a partner or reseller, reaching out to the partner’s support team can be an effective alternative. Partners have dedicated channels to open service requests on a customer’s behalf and can often help ensure that the case is properly categorized and escalated.

Alternative Path If You Cannot Reach a Representative

If repeated attempts to speak with a support agent are unsuccessful, there is a practical workaround. You can create a new, temporary tenant by starting a Microsoft 365 trial from Microsoft’s plans comparison page.

Once the new tenant is set up, you will have full access to the admin center in that tenant, which you can then use to submit a support request that references your original tenant and explains the block you are encountering. This approach gives you a working route to reach Support even if your original tenant cannot open tickets. When your original tenant’s issue is resolved, be sure to cancel the trial to prevent any charges.

Thank you for your patience and perseverance. Please let me know how your next call goes or if you have any further concerns.
