May I clarify that you're following the steps outlined in here to uninstall Microsoft 365?

It sounds like you’re trying to install Microsoft Office, but leftover files from a previous installation are preventing it from installing correctly. To fully remove all existing Office components, I recommend using the official Microsoft Support and Recovery Assistant (SaRA). This tool is designed specifically to cleanly uninstall Microsoft 365/Office when the normal uninstall process does not work.
You can download the official removal tool here: https://aka.ms/SaRA-OfficeUninstallFromPC
After running the tool:
- Select Microsoft 365.
- Choose the option to completely remove Office.
- Restart your computer once the process finishes.
- Then try installing Office again.
If you receive any error messages during installation, please share the exact message.
