A free program from Microsoft that provides developers with the tools, resources, and sandbox environments needed to build solutions for Microsoft 365.
Hi Geoff Canyon
Thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A Forum and sharing your experience.
I understand how confusing and frustrating the current Partner Center experience can be when verification status appears contradictory and no clear next steps are shown.
Based on the current design of Partner Center and the Microsoft 365 Developer Program, Microsoft does not expose detailed rejection reasons or the remaining number of verification attempts. Verification decisions are automated and validated against external data sources, and this information is not surfaced in the Partner Center UI. As a result, the only actionable step available is to carefully review and ensure that all legal business information, contact details, and supporting documents exactly match your official business records, as outlined in Verify Your Account Information – Partner Center on Microsoft Learn.
Because Partner Center verification involves legal and identity checks, standard Microsoft 365 phone support and general chat agents do not have access to these systems and are unable to assist with verification failures or attempt counts. The only supported escalation path is through Partner Center support, which may require an eligible partner account or paid support depending on your enrollment. Official guidance on how to contact Partner Center support is documented here: Get help and contact support in Partner Center.
I hope this clarifies the supported path forward. If you make progress or receive clarification from Partner Center support, please consider updating this thread. It will be valuable for other developers encountering the same issue.
