No sound for iPhone, iPad and my PC. I have video but, no audio. Is there something going on with Teams because why do all my devices have the same issue? Help please. I have an appointment on Teams and I will not be able to connect. Thank you... Treza

Are all these devices connected to the same router/modem? Have you tried with a different network connection?

Also, with Teams desktop app, open Settings -> Devices.

What exactly is the name of the device you see selected there as your Speaker?

    Hi,

Thank you for sharing your question. I completely understand how stressful it is to lose audio on your iPhone, iPad, and PC, especially when you have an upcoming Teams appointment. I know how important it is for everything to work smoothly across all your devices, and it makes perfect sense to wonder if something might be happening with Teams when audio stops working everywhere at once.

This kind of issue usually isn’t caused by an outage, but rather by audio devices being mis‑selected, muted, blocked by system permissions, or misconfigured across multiple devices, which can happen after updates or when switching between mobile and desktop. Microsoft’s guidance suggests checking your Teams audio settings on each device to confirm the correct speaker is selected, running a test call, and verifying your system sound settings to ensure your output device isn’t muted or set incorrectly.  It’s also recommended to confirm that your mobile Teams app is using the right audio route under Settings > Calling and that your volume is turned up on iPhone and iPad.  Restarting Teams or the device often clears temporary glitches, and updating the Teams app can resolve audio bugs that affect multiple platforms at once.

To help narrow this down, could you tell me whether the issue happens only during meetings or also when playing test sound inside Teams settings on each device?

Please feel free to follow up  I’m here to make sure you’re fully prepared before your appointment.

    I hope this helps.

    Best Regards,

    Noel

If you are experiencing no sound on your iPhone, iPad, and PC during Teams calls, there are several troubleshooting steps you can take:

    1. Check Audio Settings: Ensure that the audio settings in Teams are configured correctly. For your PC, you can check the audio output settings to ensure the correct device is selected.
    2. Device Manager: On your PC, open Device Manager and make sure that your audio drivers are installed and functioning properly. If necessary, update the audio drivers or roll back to a previous version if an update caused the issue.
    3. Troubleshoot Audio: Use the audio troubleshooter in Windows. Go to Settings > System > Troubleshoot > Other troubleshooters and run the Playing Audio troubleshooter.
    4. Check Connections: For external audio devices, ensure that they are powered on and connected properly. Check the USB connections and replace any faulty cables if necessary.
    5. Permissions: On your mobile devices, check that Teams has the necessary permissions to access the microphone and audio settings. You can do this in the app settings.
    6. Restart Devices: Sometimes, simply restarting your devices can resolve audio issues.

If none of these steps resolve the issue, it may be beneficial to check if there are any ongoing service issues with Teams or to contact support for further assistance.
