iPhone SharePoint app consistently misplaces title banner

SharePoint on my iPhone has a variety of annoying problems, but the most in-my-face problem is illustrated in this screenshot. The title banner on pages is most often offset from the top of the screen, sometimes completely missing, and very occasionally positioned at the top of the window as it should be. When offset as shown here, scrolling the page causes the content to slide upwards (as expected) while the title banner stays in the same place, obscuring the page content.

Any suggestions to fix?

    Hi @James6M

    Welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum.

Thank you for reporting the issue with the SharePoint page header appearing offset or missing on your iPhone. This behavior is typically related to how the page is rendered within the mobile app environment and may not be directly caused by the page content itself. In some cases, this type of display issue can occur due to how iOS handles certain page elements inside mobile applications.

    Please try the following steps:

    1. Force-close the SharePoint app

Close the app completely from the app switcher, then reopen it.

    1. Update the SharePoint app

Go to the App Store and ensure you are running the latest version of Microsoft SharePoint.

    1. Reinstall the SharePoint app

Delete the app, restart your iPhone, then reinstall it from the App Store and sign back in.

    1. Update iOS

Navigate to Settings > General > Software Update and install any available updates.

    1. Test the page in Safari

Open the same SharePoint page using Safari on your iPhone.

If the problem persists after completing these steps, please reach out to the person who created or manages the SharePoint page so they can review the page layout and header configuration.

If the issue persists after this review, the best next step would be to have your IT administrator open a support ticket with Microsoft via the admin center. A technical support engineer can then initiate a remote session, review backend settings, and run diagnostics. If needed, they can escalate the case to specialized engineering teams who are well-equipped to perform advanced troubleshooting and provide targeted solutions.
