    Hi @JAEVAH JACKSON (Student),

Welcome to the Microsoft Q&A forum.

Thank you for reaching out regarding your question about connecting the Microsoft Authenticator app to your iPhone for your school account.

If this is your first time attempting to sign in, you may try the steps suggested by the Q&A assist, or the additional steps outlined below.

1/ Go to Office.com, and enter your school-issued email address and password

2/ If the Microsoft Authenticator app is already installed on your mobile device, select Next and follow the prompts to add your account. If not, you can download it here: Download Microsoft Authenticator - Microsoft Support.

3/ Follow the on‑screen instructions to scan the QR code, connect your school account, and complete the setup.

However, if you run into any difficulties while during sign‑in or completing the setup, it may be helpful to reach out to your school’s IT administrator, as MFA settings for school accounts can only be adjusted by them. In this case, specifically ask them to “Reset my MFA settings or allow me to re-register for MFA". This is a standard request, and your school's IT team should be able to assist you with it.

You can also share the steps in this Microsoft article for them so they can help reset your MFA settings for you Manage user authentication methods for Microsoft Entra multifactor authentication.

Please note that forum moderators do not have access to user account settings and cannot assist with logging in, resetting passwords, or changing access rights. While we do not have access to internal systems or administrative tools required to resolve account-specific or backend-related issues, we’ll continue doing our best to support you within the scope of our responsibilities.

I hope this information is helpful. If you have any updates, feel free to leave a comment under this post. I’ll be happy to assist further.

Thank you for your cooperation and understanding in resolving this matter.
