    Hi Tom Mac Kenzie

Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Q&A Forum.

To better understand your issue, could you please help confirm a few details:

-Are you able to receive emails when signing in to Outlook on the web?

-Are you using Classic Outlook or the New Outlook?

-When you sign in to Microsoft Teams on the web, does it load normally there?

-Have you already tried removing and re-adding the account in Outlook, and if so, does the same sync error appear again?

-You also mentioned :“I switched to our account and it brought up a new Teams with blank calendars, no chat history etc.” Do you mean other users in your organization are also experiencing the same issue?

If you are using a work or school account, please also contact your IT administrator to check that the appropriate licenses are still assigned and that the mailbox is active.

Please understand that our initial reply may not always immediately resolve the issue. However, with your help and more detailed information, we can work together to find a solution.

I look forward to your response.

It seems you're experiencing issues with both Outlook and Microsoft Teams. Here are some steps you can take to potentially resolve these problems:

    For Outlook Sync Issues:

    1. Remove and Re-add Account: Since you received a message suggesting to remove and add your account again, you can do this by going to the Control Panel, selecting Mail, and then managing your profiles to remove and add your email account.
    2. Check for Updates: Ensure that your Outlook client is up to date. Running Windows Update can help ensure that you have the latest updates.
    3. Create a New Profile: If the issue persists, consider creating a new Outlook profile. You can do this by going to Mail in Control Panel, selecting Show Profiles, and then adding a new profile.

    For Microsoft Teams Issues:

    1. Sign Out and Sign Back In: Sometimes, signing out of Teams and then signing back in can resolve issues related to account syncing.
    2. Clear Cache: Clearing the Teams cache can also help. You can do this by closing Teams, navigating to %appdata%\Microsoft\Teams, and deleting the contents of the folder.
    3. Check for Service Issues: If multiple users are experiencing issues, it might be a service-related problem. Check the Microsoft 365 Service health status to see if there are any ongoing issues.

If these steps do not resolve the issues, you may need to contact your IT administrator or Microsoft support for further assistance.
