    Hi Yanmin Sheng,

Welcome to the Microsoft Q&A forum.

I understand how stressful this situation is, especially since this Hotmail account is tied to your work, your children’s school, and government services.

Based on your description, your account appears to have been temporarily blocked after multiple incorrect sign‑in attempts, and you have already tried the Microsoft account recovery form more than once. The Q&A Assist answer generally points in the right direction, but I would like to add some important clarifications and more detailed guidance.

Before escalating, if you don’t mind, you can try submitting another recovery request, following the detailed guidance provided by Microsoft here: Help with the Microsoft account recovery form - Microsoft Support. Submitting the form with more complete information improves the likelihood that the automated review can verify ownership.

If the recovery form continues to be unsuccessful, you can try contacting Microsoft Support directly via live chat. Please follow below steps to reach an agent:

1, Visit the Microsoft Support contact page: Contact - Microsoft Support

2, In the search bar provided on the page, type "Account recovery" and press Enter.

3, Click on the "Get Help" button that appears.

4, Scroll down the page until you see and click on the "Contact Support" option.

5, When prompted to select your product or service, choose "Other Products".

6, For the category, choose "Manage account security".

7, Look for and click on "Chat with a support agent in your web browser".

8, Confirm your personal email when prompted - this is the email Microsoft will use to communicate with you during and after the support session.

9, When connected, clearly explain your situation. Be concise but include all relevant details

Please be aware that this is a user‑to‑user support platform. Contributors and moderators do not have access to internal systems and cannot unlock, verify, or modify Microsoft accounts. The recovery form and official support channels are the only supported paths for account access restoration.

I know this is a difficult situation, and I truly hope the next recovery submission is successful.

It sounds like you're facing a frustrating situation with your Hotmail account being blocked. Here are some steps you can take to try to recover your account:

    1. Wait for Recovery Form Response: Since you submitted the recovery form, it may take some time for Microsoft to respond. Keep an eye on your email for any updates.
    2. Use the Official Recovery Form Again: If you haven't received a response, you can try submitting the recovery form again. Make sure to provide as much detailed information as possible, such as previous passwords, email subjects, and contacts.
    3. Contact Microsoft Support: If the recovery form does not yield results, you can reach out to Microsoft Support directly. You can do this by visiting the Microsoft Support contact page. Look for options related to account recovery or security issues. Depending on your region, you may have options for chat support or a callback.
    4. Check for Alternate Recovery Options: If you have any other recovery options set up (like a phone number or alternate email), ensure that you check those as well.
    5. Be Persistent: It can be frustrating, but persistence is key. If you continue to face issues, keep reaching out to support and updating your recovery attempts.

Remember to use a device and location that you typically use when filling out the recovery form, as this can help verify your identity.
