    Hi @koray kiris,

    Welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum.

Thank you for reaching out. To better understand the issue with SharePoint access after changing your email address, could you please clarify the following:

    1. Did you update your existing Microsoft 365 account by adding/changing an alias (User Principal Name change), or
    2. Was a completely new user account created for you with the new email address?
    3. Are you able to access other Microsoft 365 services (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive) with the new email?
    4. What exact error message do you receive when trying to access SharePoint?

    This distinction is important because:

If it is only an alias/UPN change, SharePoint permissions should remain tied to the same underlying account, but cached credentials or profile sync issues may cause access problems.

If a new user account was created, SharePoint will treat it as a different identity, and permissions must be re-assigned manually.

Once I have this information, I can determine the correct resolution steps.

Thank you for your time and understanding. Looking forward to your response.

To resolve the issue of not being able to connect to SharePoint after changing your email address, you may need to ensure that your new email address is properly configured in your SharePoint Online user profile. Here are some steps you can follow:

    1. Check User Profile: Make sure that your new email address is updated in your Microsoft 365 account and is reflected in your SharePoint Online user profile.
    2. Sign Out and Sign In: Sometimes, simply signing out of your Microsoft account and signing back in can refresh your session and allow you to connect with the updated email.
    3. Clear Cache: Clear your browser's cache and cookies, as old session data might be causing the connection issue.
    4. Check Permissions: Ensure that your new email address has the necessary permissions to access the SharePoint site. You may need to contact your SharePoint administrator for assistance.
    5. Use the Correct URL: Verify that you are using the correct URL for your SharePoint site when trying to connect.

If the problem persists, consider reaching out to your IT department or SharePoint support for further assistance.
