When I try to log into my Microsoft account through my laptop settings, it says, "Oops, something went wrong. There is a problem with your Microsoft account. To fix this, sign in to account.live.com from a browser. " When I go to the website and log in, there's no prompt or anything to help me log in through my actual device, if that makes sense? Your device is likely having trouble refreshing your personal Microsoft account credentials, which often happens when cached sign‑in data becomes corrupted, the account connection falls out of sync or the network interferes with authentication. You can try signing in with a different method such as an Authenticator prompt, SMS or backup email, clearing the cached Microsoft account credential folders and restarting your device, running the built‑in account and Store troubleshooters, resetting the Store cache using WSReset.exe, connecting through a different network such as a hotspot, adding your Microsoft account through a second temporary user profile to force Windows to refresh the link, or creating a temporary local admin account and attempting the sign‑in flow again.
